After Effects Script: Text To Markers

Introducing Text To Markers - an easy-to-use After Effects script that will take your copy/paste text and convert it to layer or composition markers in your timeline.

This script can be helpful to workflows when highlighting timed text on a per-word basis using marker trigger expressions on text animators. Also, this script be useful when you need to provide cues on your timeline or layers for any beats you need to hit in your scenes.

Notable features include:

• The markers can be created through a Word, Character, Character Exc. Spaces, or Line pattern.
• The markers will be distributed evenly based on layer duration or work area duration when they are placed at a composition level.
• Shift-Click: Markers will be placed at the composition level
